No one is present on behalf of the petitioner to press the writ petition nor there
is any request for adjournment/pass over the case.
This writ petition was filed in the year 1996, challenging the order dated
2.2.1996, by which the petitioner was placed at the bottom of the pay scale i.e.
950-1300 by way of punishment. The petitioner has also challenged the
repatriation to the parent department, which was made on administrative
grounds. It appears that during the pendency of the writ petition the petitioner
has lost his interest to pursue the case.

In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Interim
order, if any, stands discharged.
