1. By
way of this petition the petitioner has prayed to direct the
respondents to consider the claim of promotion of the petitioners
on the basis of that they belong to Schedule Caste.

2. By
efflux of time the petition has become infructous. Even otherwise the
issue is already covered by the decision of the Letters Patent Appeal
No. 81 of 1998. In that view of the matter this petition is disposed
of accordingly. Rule is discharged.
