Letter has been treated as a petition. In the petition, it has been

alleged that Amar Singh, father of the petitioner had been picked up on 1.9.2008

from outside the Court in Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from

Balbir Singh, Assistant Sub Inspector, Police Station, Division No.5, Ludhiana, has

informed the Court that Amar Singh son of Ram Lubhaya was arrested on

18.8.2008. He was earlier declared proclaimed offender in case FIR No.227 of

2006 registered with Police Station, Sidhwan Bet, Police District Jagraon.

In view of the above, no further directions need be issued.

The petition is disposed of.
