The petitioner had appeared for the first year M.B.B.S.
examination conducted by the Calicut University in the
month of February, 2010. Dissatisfied with the results in
the paper Physiology including Bio-physics the petitioner
has applied for revaluation. Petitioner seeks expeditious
completion of the revaluation and publication of results. I
have heard the standing counsel for the University also. He
would submit that the University would require at least two
more months’ time to complete the revaluation process.
2. Having heard both sides, I dispose of this writ
petition with a direction to the respondents to complete the
revaluation process and publish the results of the
petitioner’s examination for which the petitioner has filed
application for revaluation as expeditiously as possible, at
any rate within a period of six weeks from the date of

receipt of a copy of this judgment, provided the application
is in order in all respects. After publication of the
revaluation results, within one week the petitioner shall be
supplied with a photocopy of the answer paper provided the
petitioner has complied with the procedural formalities
thereof.
