(अमरोहा): उपाध्यक्ष जी, २४ नवम्बर को ‘हिन्दू अखबार के अंदर प्रोफेट हज़रत मोहम्मद साहब का कार्टून छपा और यह इतना खौफनाक और खतरनाक मामला है और मल्होत्रा साहब ने कहा कि इन लोगों ने नोटिस नहीं दिया है लेकिन मैं बताना चाहता हूं कि मैंने इसका नोटिस होम मनिस्टर ऑफ इंडिया को और ब्रॉड कॉस्िंटग मनिस्टर को दिया और मैंने कहा कि मैं ज़ीरो ऑवर में इस मामले को उठाना चाहता हूं। सरकार इस मामले में कार्रवाई करे और इंफॉर्मेशन कलैक्ट करे। परसों अलीगढ़ के अंदर यह मामला इतना खतरनाक होता जा रहा है और यह इतना संवेदनशील मामला है कि सारा देश जानता है कि‘हिन्दू’ अखबार की सैकुलर इमेज है। यह किस तरीके से छपा है? हज़रत मोहम्मद साहब का कार्टून और अबुबकर साहब का कार्टून तीन दिन पहले उठाया भी गया था लेकिन सरकार इतनी गैर-जिम्मेदार है कि न तो गृह मंत्री जी ने हाउस में आने की जहमत गवारा की और न ब्रॉडकॉस्िंटग मनिस्टर ने हाउस में आने की ज़हमत गवारा की। इसलिए मैं आपके माध्यम से सरकार से कहना चाहता हूं कि इससे पूरे देश के अंदर आग लग सकती है। यह मामला सिर्फ हिन्दुस्तान का नहीं है बल्कि पूरी दुनिया का मामला है। मैं सरकार से कहना चाहता हूं कि इस अखबार की कॉपी पर पाबंदी लगाई जाये और इस कार्टूनिस्ट के खिलाफ क्रमिनल केस चलाया जाये और गिरफ्तारी की जाये। मैं चाहता हूं कि…( व्यवधान)

डॉ. विजय कुमार मल्होत्रा: उपाध्यक्ष महोदय, जो मामला उठाया गया है यह सचमुच में बड़ा गंभीर मामला है और इस्लाम के मानने वालों के लिए बहुत आहत करने वाला है। पैगम्बर साहब, जिसका दुनिया में सब आदर करते हैं, उनका केरीकेचर छापना बहुत ही गलत है। किसी भी धार्मिक व्यक्ति के लिए, खास तौर से जो इन्हें मानते हैं, उनके लिए इस तरह करना ठीक नहीं है। दुनिया भर में केरीकेचर छापने पर प्रतिबंध है। जिस अखबार ने यह छापा है उसके उस हिस्से पर प्रतिबंध लगना चाहिए। उसने अगले दिन माफी मांगी और फ्रंट पेज़ पर वे सब बातें हैं, इसलिए मेरा कहना है कि उसके उस हिस्से पर प्रतिबंध लगना चाहिए। मैं माननीय सदस्य की बात से पूरी तरह सहमत हूं।
