डॉ. विनय कुमार पाण्डेय(श्रावस्ती): सभापति महोदय, कॉमनवैल्थ गेम्स2010 को देखते हुए जिस तरीके से मैट्रो की घटनाएं अभी 12 जुलाई को एल.एस.आर. जंक्शन पर हुई, मिसहैपनिंग हुई और उसके पहले घटनाएं होती रहीं, उनको देखते हुए एक स्थिति यह उत्पन्न हुई कि क्या उस समय तक यह प्रोजैक्ट पूरा हो पाएगा और हो पाएगा तो क्या सही दिशा में सही ढंग से हो पाएगा? ये जो घटनाएं घटी हैं, इनसे दर्शकों को, आगन्तुकों को, खिलाड़ियों को और जो पर्यटक आने वाले हैं तथा स्थानीय नागरिकों की सुरक्षा और संरक्षा का एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण प्रश्न आकर खड़ा हुआ है।
यह जो कमेटी बनाई गई है, मैं सीधे अपने बिन्दु पर आता हूं। मैं आपके माध्यम से सरकार से निवेदन करना चाहता हूं कि जो जांच कमेटी बनाई गई है, उस जांच कमेटी में क्या डिजाइन और डिजाइन एप्रूवल के प्रोसेसिंग से होकर गुजरने वाले किसी सदस्य का नाम तो नहीं है कि जो जांच कर रहा है? अगर वे जांच कर रहे हैं तो उससे तो सही बात सामने नहीं आएगी। कम से कम इम्पार्सियल मैम्बर से, कमेटी से जांच कराई जाये, जिससे सही बात सामने आये और भविष्य में ऐसी घटना न घटे और नागरिकों की सुरक्षा और संरक्षा से खिलवाड़ न किया जा सके।
Usually, men and women between the ages of 50 and 60, suffer from kidney diseases due to hyper tension and diabetes mellitus. But in our district, even the people who are aged between 20 and 35 have been affected by this kidney disease. If you observe the mortal statistics for the last one decade, you will see that hundreds of deaths have been recorded due to this disease.
As far as this issue is concerned, doctors from all over the country, doctors from the Andhra Medical College, doctors from Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences, and doctors from the world’s no. 1 institute, the Harvard Medical School, have come to our place. They have examined the patients, they have done the water analysis, and they have examined the food habits of those patients over that area. After doing all these investigations, all of our doctor colleagues have come to a conclusion that because of high samples of silicon and strontium in the ground water, these people are being affected.
In this regard, I would request the Government to give a special grant to the renal equipment, to treat kidney disease at the Rajiv Institute of Medical Sciences at Srikakulam District. I would also request the Government to establish water purifiers to provide purified water to the people in those areas.
Finally, I would request the Government to send a special team to create some awareness and to suggest ways to save the lives of the people over there in the Srikakulam District. .
