SHRi LAKSHMAN CHANDRA SETH (TAMLUK) : Sir, I would like to draw the attention of the Government, through you, regarding the improvement of the Calcutta and the Haldia Ports. You know, Sir, that the Calcutta Port is a riverine Port and the Haidia Dock Complex was considered as a subsidiary of the Calcutta Port Trust. Because the two Ports are riverine, they are facing heavy siltation problem in the river-bed. The important point is that sufficient fund is not ailo-
