MR. SPEAKER: I have to inform the House that on 18th March, 2008, I received letter dated 10th March, 2008, from Shri Purno Agitok Sangma, an elected Member from Tura Parliamentary Constituency of Meghalaya, resigning from the membership of Lok Sabha with immediate effect.
I have accepted his resignation with effect from 20th March, 2008.
