Information sought:
The Appellant seeks the information in regard of Bansal College of Science and Tech.,
Kokata, Anand Nagar Bhopal M.P. and in respect of notice 1-65/ICD/NEC/1998-99
dated 03/05/2000 issued by AICTE as follows:
1. Provide the names and numbers of the teaching staff and total no. of students in MCA
faculty of this college. Whether there is any vacancy of Lecturer in MCA faculty of this
College and if so, from when?
2. Mr. Navin Gupta is being paid Rs. 8000/- against the rule of the para-5 of the
  notification.
3. Provide the certified copy of the amount deducted in the office of M.P. Vratti kar from
the salary of teaching staff in 2008-09 with name wise list format.
    4. Provide the certified copy of income and expenditure-balance sheet of the institute
    in 2007-08 and 2008-09 as with the remark of the C.A.
     5. Provide the certified copy of the list of salary of teaching staff of 2008-09 sent to
    Oriental Bank of Commerce, Malviya Nagar.
    6. The certified copies of the basic salary sheets till 2008-09.
    7. The name of the Lecturer appointed on contract basis in or after Feb. 2009 and the
    name of the Lecturer resigned or expelled in or after Feb. 2009.

PIO's reply:
The PIO AICTE 7th floor referred the application to PIO, Respondent no. 3 to provide the
information, but no information provided till now.

Grounds for First Appeal:
No information provided by the PIO.

Grounds for Complaint:
No information provided by the PIO/Principal of the institute even after notice of CIC.

02/01/2010.

Respondent: Mr. Akhilesh Kr Singh on behalf of Mr MS Ghuge (PIO, AICTE, Bhopal).
The PIO states that the information sought by the Complainant is not held by AICTE nor
are they expected to have this information as per the rules. The PIO states that the
information on query 1 is available with the AICTE and this has been provided. The PIO
states that the rest of the information is not with AICTE and the college is not a public
authority and hence the RTI application cannot be transferred to the college.

Decision:

The Complaint is dismissed.
