Prayer:   Original Application No.9497 of 1998 was filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal praying to call for the records of the respondent dated 4/6/98 made in G.O.Ms.No.189 School Education (S.1) Department, quash the same in so far it relates to creating the B.Ed. posts of Science & Maths only and filling up the said post by giving promotion to the secondary grade teacher those who have acquired degree in science and maths only and issue suitable directions to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of B.Ed. Asst. by creating the post of B.Ed. (History).  Since the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal was abolished, the O.A. was received by transfer and numbered as Writ Petition.
