The matter is taken in the revised cause list.
None present on behalf of the petitioner.
From the perusal of the record, it transpires that by means of present writ
petition, the promotion order dated 23.10.1986(Annexure no. 10 to the writ
petition) by which opposite party Nos. 3 to 10 have been promoted from the
post of Managers to the post of Assistant General Managers of the Bank has
been challenged.
At the time of filing of the present writ petition, the petitioner no. 1, Sri S.S.
Lal Varma was aged about 50 years and petitioner no. 2, R.B. Singh was aged
about 48 years.
In view of the said fact, due to efflux of time the present writ petition has
become infructuous and the same is liable to be dismissed as such.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
Interim order, if any stands discharged.
