COMMON
ORAL ORDER
The
present applications have been filed by the applicant under Section
439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for regular bail. The
applicant-accused is charged with having commited the offences under
Sections 376(2)(g), 342, 328, 323, 324, 201, 212, 120B and 114 of the
Indian Penal Code and for the offences under the Bombay Prohibition
Act, for which FIRs, being C.R. Nos. I-02 of 2004 and I-23 of 2004,
have been registered with Shahibaugh Police Station and Naranpura
Police Station respectively.
Heard
Mr. K. B. Anandjiwala, learned Advocate for the applicant, and Mr. R.
C. Kodekar, learned APP for the opponent-State of Gujarat.
As
the Court was not inclined, after arguing for some time, Mr. K. B.
Anandjiwala, learned Advocate for the applicant, seeks permission to
withdraw the present applications filed for regular bail and
alternatively for temporary bail, as stated by the learned Advocate
at the bar. The permission is granted. The present applications stand
disposed of as withdrawn unconditionally. Notice is discharged.
