This is a petition alleging police harassment. It

is submitted by the Government Pleader that two crimes were

registered against the petitioner and some other petitions are

also pending. According to the petitioner, because of the

political affiliation he is unnecessarily harassed. The writ

petition is disposed of with a direction to the police that if

any crime is registered, it shall be enquired only according

to law and that shall not result in unnecessary harassment.

If there is any harassment, petitioner shall approach the

jurisdictional Magistrate.
