Mr. Jagannath Mahto, learned counsel appearing for the
petitioners, submitted that against the claim of compensation of the
petitioners, some objections were raised, in which notices were issued
by Special Land Acquisition Officer to the parties, but the objectors are
not appearing and the matter has not been concluded as yet.
2. Mr. Akhtar, learned counsel appearing for the State, on
the other hand, submitted that he is not in a position to either accept
or controvert the statements made in the writ petition, whether a
decision has been taken on such objection or not.
3. In the circumstances, petitioners will produce copy of this
order before the Special Land Acquisition Officer No. 2, Subarnarekhan
Project, Chandil, Seraikella-Kharswan (Respondent No. 2). If he has
passed the order on such objection, the same will be communicated to
the petitioners. If no order has been passed, he will pass order on
such objection in accordance with law and will communicate it to the
parties, as early as possible and preferably within two month from the
date of receipt / production of the copy of this order.
It is made clear that this court has not gone into the
merits of the claim of the petitioners.
With these observations and directions, this writ petition is
disposed of.
