The petitioner claims compassionate appointment after 17 years of the
death of his father.It is submitted that the application had been moved
within time but the same has not been processed so far.

This writ petition cannot be entertained at this stage on account of
laches as the petitioner has come up after more than a decade. It is
open to the petitioner to approach the competent authority.

The writ petition is consigned to records.
