                               JUDGMENT

Ramachandran Nair, J.

Appeal is filed against judgment of the learned single Judge

declining to direct respondents to entertain a nomination paper

submitted by the appellant without signature. Counsel for the appellant

submitted that defect is not grave enough to reject a nomination. We

are unable to accept this because in our view, the learned single Judge

has rightly held that nomination filed without signature is invalid in

law. Consequently Writ Appeal is dismissed.
