Matter is taken in the revised cause list.
Heard Smt. Parul Bajpai, learned Standing Counsel on behalf of
opposite party and perused the record.
By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner has assailed the
order dated 04.07.2001 (Annexure-1) by which he was placed under
suspension.
On 08.08.2001, this Court has passed an interim order, the operative
portion of the same is quoted as under:-
“Till then the operation of the impugned order dated 14th July, 2001
shall remain stayed. It is open for the authorities to proceed with the
enquiry to its logical end.”
Accordingly, as the matter relates to suspension order passed in the
year 2001. In view of the aforesaid facts and in the interest of justice, it
is provided that in case , the final orders has not been passed in the
matter in question till date in respect to the incident in which petitioner
has been placed under suspension, the competent authority shall
complete the enquiry within a further period of six weeks from today
and passed final orders . For a period of six weeks or till the final order
is passed by the competent authority whichever is earlier, the order
dated 21.1.2006 passed by this Court shall continue.
With the above observations , the present writ petition is finally
disposed of .
