Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Standing
Counsel.
It appears that some examination of Lekhpal was conducted in the
year 1989. It was cancelled then various aggrieved persons filed a
writ petition before this Court and writ petition was allowed and
cancellation of examination was set aside. Petitioners submit that
against that order, State filed a Special Appeal as well as Special
Leave Petition before the Apex Court. Both were dismissed and
judgement and order passed by this Court has become final.
Anyhow in 2010 on the basis of direction issued by this Court
those persons have been given appointment.
In the facts and circumstances of present case this writ petition is
also disposed of in terms judgement given in Writ Petition
No.34525 of 2001 decided on 25.3.2004 and reasons and
directions given in Writ Petition No.34525 of 2001 shall also apply
to this writ petition.
No order as to costs.
