Background
Sh. Dilip Kumar Singh, the complainant vide an application under the RTI Act,
2005 dated 3.11.2008 addressed to the Commissioner of Police sought information
regarding a complaint filed by him dated 8.07.2008. The application was received in
the office of the CPIO/Central Dist. on 2.12.2008 who replied vide letter dated
1.01.2009. However, not satisfied with the reply of the CPIO, the complainant filed a
first appeal before the First Appellate Authority / Jt. C.P. Southern Range. Sh. Karnal
Singh who vide his order dated 4.02.2009, directed to CPIO to provide point-wise
information to the complainant. In compliance of the order of the FAA, the
CPIO/Central Dist. provided point-wise reply to the complaint. However, not satisfied
with the reply the complainant filed a second appeal before the Commission.
2. The matter was heard on 19.01.2010.
3. The complainant was not present for the hearing.
4. Smt. Achala Rampal, ACP/RTI/PHA, Sh. Meenu Choudhary, Addl. DCP/C and
Sh. Ram Kishan, SHO represented the respondent.
During the hearing the respondent submitted that requisite point-wise
information has been provided to the complainant.
Decision
After hearing the respondent and on perusal of relevant documents, the
Commission finds that requisite information has been provided to Sh. Dilip Kumar Singh.
The matter is disposed on the part of the Commission.
