1. The appellant did not avail of the opportunity of personal hearing on
1/9/2008. The appeal is, therefore, examined on merit.

2. The appellant has submitted a complaint under the provisions of the Act,
and sought to know from the CPIO as to why letters addressed to him were not
delivered at his new address, which was intimated before his retirement from the
services of the respondent.

3. The CPIO has replied and there is no denial of information.

Decision:

4. The information asked for is not covered u/s 2(f) of the Act, which requires
that the information sought for should be available in any material form.

However, since the CPIO has duly replied and informed the appellant about the
delivery of letters, addressed to him, this appeal was unnecessary and is thus
disposed of.
