Background

Vide an RTI application dated 21.04.2008, Sh. Jawahar Lal (herein after called
the appellant) sought information on 73 points regarding his complaint dated 22.12.2006
and numerous issues connected therewith. Vide letter dated 19.05.2008, the
Dy. Commissioner of Police/PIO, South-West Delhi, provided the information related to
him and on some points forwarded his RTI application to the other concerned PIO.
Dissatisfied with the reply of the PIO, the appellant filed a first appeal before the First
Appellate Authority (FAA), who directed the PIO to provide some information and the
same was provided by the CPIO. However, dissatisfied with response of respondents, the
appellant filed a second appeal before the Commission.

2. The matter was heard on 10.12.2009.

3. Sh. Jawahar Lal, the appellant and Sh. Gagan Singh, was present for the
hearing.

4. Sh. Zile Singh, ACP/PG/S-W Dist. and Sh. Satya Parkash, Sub-Inspector
represented the respondent.

During the hearing Sh. Zile Singh, ACP/PG/SW submits that after the directions of
the First Appellate Authority, vide letter dated 24.07.2008, the PIO, Crime, Delhi
provided the information related to him. Vide letter dated 27.08.2008, Dy.
Commissioner of Police/PIO/SW Dist., New Delhi also provided point-wise
information to the appellant. The respondent also submits an inspection report,
wherein, it has been recorded that Duty Roasters of P.S. Nazafgargh, for the period
8.10.2008 – 19.05.2008, and Roznamcha A& B of this period have been inspected by
the appellant and the appellant has recorded his satisfaction to this effect.

Decision

After examining the several replies given by the respondents and the inspection
report, the Commission finds that complete point-wise information, available on file, has
been provided to the appellant.

Hence, the matter is disposed off on the part of the Commission.
