Facts

:

1. Both the parties were heard on 28/7/2008.

2. The appellant stated that he had asked for a copy of action taken report in
the matter of renewal of insurance of a vehicle, which was stolen. The CPIO has
duly replied and furnished a copy of the note sheet indicating the processing of
the letter for obtaining approval of the competent authority for renewal of
insurance of the vehicle in question. He also said that no information in the form
of an action taken report exists with the respondent.

Decision:

3. The information on the basis of available records, in respect of the action
taken on renewal of insurance of the vehicle, has been furnished in the form in
which it is available with the respondent. There is no denial of information.

4. This appeal was unnecessary and is accordingly disposed of.
