Facts
:
1. The case was heard on 22/10/2008 in absence of the complainant.
2. The complainant has complained under the provisions of the RTI Act that
the respondent, his employer, is harassing him in different ways and has also
deprived him of timely promotion. The CPIO has replied with which the
complainant is not satisfied. Hence, this complaint before the Commission.
3. In the course of hearing, the CPIO stated that there is no denial of
information to the complainant. The appellant has sought for redressal of his
grievances, which are not covered under the provisions of the Act.
Decision:
4. The complainant has not asked for information as per Section 2(f) of the
Act. He has made complaint about service matters. He is advised to approach
the competent authority for redressal of his grievances. Alternatively, he may
seek legal remedy in the matter.
