       This is in continuation of Commissions proceedings dated 15.1.2010. As
scheduled, the matter is called for hearing today dated 22.02.2010. Complainant not
present. The Public Authority is represented by Shri V.B.Bansal, Deputy
Director(Training), Shri Mahabir Singh, Deputy Director, LAB(H) and Shri R.K.
Sharma, Sr.AO. Shri Mahabir Singh submits a written representation which is taken
on record wherein it has been stated that the scheme of GIS has since been
terminated with LIC and no amount can be recovered/adjusted from the LIC at this
belated stage. Shri Sharma would support the contention of Shri Mahabir Singh.
According to him, as per prevailing rules, no refund is permissible to the
complainant.

                                            DECISION

2.      In view of the above, Shri Mahabir Singh, Deputy Director, LAB(H) is
hereby directed to communicate this position in writing to the appellant. The matter
stands closed at the Commission's end.
