1. Both the parties were heard on 26/8/2010.
2. In the course of hearing, the details of information asked for and the
CPIO’s response were discussed. The CPIO stated that the appellant has
grievances regarding termination of his services as a temporary employee. The
appellant has been allowed inspection of relevant records and over 100 pages
have already been furnished to the appellant, and there is no denial of
information.
3. The appellant stated that he has not been provided complete information
in respect of payment of overtime allowances. He, therefore, pleaded for
providing complete information.
Decision:
4. The CPIO should allow inspection of records once again particularly the
file containing details of overtime allowances paid/claimed by the appellant.
Upon inspection of records, the appellant may identify the required information,
which should be furnished to him free of cost, up to 10 pages only, u/s 7(6) of the
Act.
5. Both the parties should mutually decide a convenient date and time for
inspection of records within 15 working days from the date of receipt of this
decision.
