FACTS
:
By his letter of 12.2.2009, the appellant had requested for
information on the following 04 paras in respect of Insurance
Inspector/Manager, Grade-II/Superintendent, Examination 2007 :-
“(i) Centre-wise interview marks obtained by the disqualified
candidates;
(ii) Percentage wise details of qualified candidates of each interview
centre;
(iii) Marks obtained by Roll No. 28040240 (Anil Kumar) and Roll No.
28010114 (Alok Kumar Pathak) in each stage i.e. written test,
Computer test & Interview separately;
(iv) Category wise cut-off marks i.e. General, OBC, SC & ST categories
separately; &
(v) Information of provisionally qualified candidates in the following
format:-

2. This was responded to vide Shri G.S. Giri, Joint Director (Rectt)
vide letter dated 31.3.2009. Subsequently, additional information was
provided by Shri B.D. Sharma, Director, vide letter dated 6.8.2009.
3. The appellant has filed the present appeal on the ground that
unsatisfactory/incomplete information has been provided to him.
4. Heard on 12.8.2009. The appellant is not present but has sent a fax
massage requesting for adjournment in the matter. The public authority is
represented by the officers named above. It is noticed that the CPIO had
declined to disclose information in respect of paras 1, 2 & 5. However,
complete information has been disclosed in respect of para 4 and partial
information in respect of para 3.
INTERIM DECISION:
5. For affording an opportunity of hearing to the appellant the matter is
adjourned to 1.9.2009 at 1210 hrs. It is clarified that if the appellant does
not appear on this date the matter will be decided ex-parte. Shri Giri and
Shri Kanwal need not appear on this date.
