By his letter of 09/10/2007, the Appellant had requested for information on four
points relating to the total amount of Provident Fund and interest thereon due from
Mafatlal Industrial Group etc. He was furnished information by CPIO vide letter dated
31/10/2007. It appears that he filed the first Appeal but the disposal thereof is not
available in the Commission’s records. He has, filed the second appeal before this
Commission.
2. The matter was heard on 20/02/2009. The parties did not appear before the
Commission. Shri R. Shankara Reddy has faxed a detailed representation dated
17/02/2009 in which he has mentioned that two earlier appeals filed by the present
Appellant almost on the same grounds have been disposed of by this Commission in
Appeal No.CIC/LS/A/2008/0021 dated 28/01/2009 and Appeal No.
CIC/S/A/2009/2009/00104 dated 11/02/2009. It is his submission that no new point has
been raised by the Appellant in the present Appeal.
DECISION
3. I have carefully perused the earlier orders passed by the Commission. The
submission of Shri Reddy has force as no new point appears to have been raised in the
Appeal. The Appeal is, therefore, dismissed.
