Facts
By his letter of 23.5.2008, the appellant had requested for information on 06
points relating to the appointment of Shri Ratan Gambhir as Karate Coach and Shri
Krishan Kumar, as Wushu Coach etc.
2. Shri R.K. Saxena, Asstt. Director (Coaching), SAI, New Delhi, vide letter
dated 12.6.2008 had provided para-wise information to the appellant. Dissatisfied
with the information provided to him, he has filed the present appeal before the
Commission.
3. The matter was heard on 14.5.2009. The appellant appeared before the
Commission. The public authority is represented by the officer named above. It is
the submission of Shri Thakran that the notice should have issued to Shri R.K.
Saxena, Asst. Director (Coaching), and not to him as the appointment matters are
dealt with by Shri Saxena.
INTERIM DECISION
4. In view of the above, notice may be issued to Shri R.K. Saxena, Asstt.
Director (Coaching), SAI, New Delhi to appear before the Commission on 8.6.2009
at 1300 hrs along with the files relating to the appointment of Shri Ratan Gambhir,
Karate Coach & Shri Krishan Kumar, Wushu Coach.
