Facts
:
1. The appellant has grievances regarding service matters, mainly
seniority list. In this context, the appellant along with other officials, submitted
a representation to the respondent. Through his RTI application, he has asked
for certain information in respect of the various issues raised in his
representation.
2. The CPIO has replied and furnished a point-wise response, with which
the appellant is not satisfied, mainly because his grievance has not been
redressed. Hence, this appeal before the Commission.
Decision:
3. The appellant has not specified, as per section 2(f) of the Act, as to
which information has been refused to him. As there are no provisions in the
Act for redressal of grievances on service matters, this appeal is considered
unnecessary. The appellant is advised to approach the competent authority,
which may do the needful. Else, he may seek legal remedy in the matter.
4. With these observations, the appeal is disposed of.
