1. The appeal was heard in absence of the appellant on 9th August, 2010.

2. The CPIO stated that the appellant has asked for financial details of a third
party. On obtaining concurrence of the third party under section of 11(1) of the
Act, the information was refused to the appellant. Being dissatisfied with CPIO’s
response, the appellant has pleaded for providing the information asked for.

Decision:

3. The information asked for relate to a third party. The appellant has neither
responded to the notice for hearing nor indicated as what is the public interest in
disclosure of information asked for. This appeal is therefore considered
unnecessary and is thus disposed of.
