Facts
:
1. The appellant has grievances regarding renewal of lease in his favour. In
this context, he has asked for certain information mainly, copies of
correspondence, NOC issued in favour of the party and the details of terms and
conditions for renewal of Lease Agreement.
2. The CPIO and the Appellate Authority have duly replied and furnished a
point-wise response. The appellant is, however, not satisfied. Hence, this
appeal before the Commission.
Decision:
3. The CPIO and the Appellate Authority have duly replied and furnished a
point-wise response. Since there is no denial of information u/s 8(1) of the Act,
the appellant is advised to seek inspection of the relevant records and files so as
to specify the required information, which should be furnished to him. The CPIO
is, therefore, directed to allow inspection of the relevant documents within 15
working days from the date of issue of this decision.
4. Both the parties are expected to co-operate and mutually decide a
convenient date and time for inspection of records. If any document is refused,
the CPIO should clearly indicate the grounds for doing so for review, if
necessary, by the Commission.
