Facts

By his letter of 10.1.2008, the appellant had requested for information on 07
points regarding Civil Writ Petition No. 17015 of 1991.

2. As per the Commission’s record, the APIO had passed an order dated
16.1.2008 in this matter, the copy of which is not available on record. It appears that
the appellant had filed an appeal against the aforesaid order of the APIO where upon
the Registrar (Admn.) (Appellate Authority) vide his letter dated 14.3.2008 had
informed the appellant that his appeal had been fixed for hearing on 29.3.2008 nad
that he could appear before him either in person or through a counsel. A copy of the
order, if any, passed by the Appellate Authority is not available in the Commission’s
record.

3. Scrutiny of the Commission’s file also indicates that the APIO vide his letter
dated 31.3.2008 had furnished point-wise information to the appellant as available in
the Hon’ble High Court’s records.

4. The present appeal has been filed against the order of the APIO.

DECISION

5. Shri Kamal Kant, Deputy Registrar (Admn.)-cum-Assistant Public
Information Officer of the Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court is requested to
send a copy of his order dated 16.1.2008, as referred to in the notice issued by the
Appellate Authority to the appellant in letter dated 14.3.2008 (copy enclosed for
ready reference). He is also requested to furnish a copy of the order, if any, passed
by the Appellate Authority in this matter.

6. Copies of the above said two orders may be sent to the Commission in 4
weeks time to enable the Commission to finally dispose of the matter.
