Decision:
1. Both the parties were heard on 2/4/2009.
2. In the course of hearing, it emerged that the requested information namely
DPC minutes, seniority list, etc. pertains to Indian Overseas Bank. In response
to the RTI application, the CPIO of the respondent transferred the application to
the bank, which has refused to furnish the information. The appellant stated that
he has already submitted an appeal against the decision of the bank which is the
custodian of information.
3. As stated by the appellant, he has already submitted an appeal before the
Commission against the concerned bank. The matter may be taken up in due
course.
4. This appeal against the decision of the respondent was unnecessary and
is thus disposed of.
