Facts
:
1. Both the parties were heard on 25th February 2010.
2. The appellant, an employee of the respondent, has grievances regarding
change of hometown in the service records. In this context, he has sought for
certain information. The CPIO and the Appellate Authority have duly replied, with
which the appellant is not satisfied, mainly because his main grievance, as
above, has not been redressed.
3. In the course of hearing, the parties were advised to amicably resolve the
disputes as per the accepted procedures. The CPIO has informed the
Commission vide letter dated 31st March, 2010 that the appellant’s grievance
regarding change of hometown cannot be acceded to for want of necessary
documents for doing the needful.
Decision:
4. The CPIO has clearly indicated the grounds for rejection of appellant’s
request for change of hometown in the service records.

5. The appellant is advised to complete the necessary formalities afresh and
approach the competent authority for redressal of his grievance.
6. With these remarks, the appeal is disposed of.
