 Facts

:

1. The appellant has asked for information relating to suspension from job which took
place in 1972. The CPIO has refused to provide the information on the basis of non-availability
of documents as per the record retention policy. Being not satisfied with the response, he has
pleaded for providing complete information.

Decision:

2. An information, which is not maintained as per the record retention policy cannot be
furnished. This appeal is therefore considered unnecessary and is thus dismissed of.
