Facts
:
1. In response to the RTI application, the PIO, Shri Rajeev Singh asked the
concerned PIO, Sr. DFM, Udaipur, to furnish the information asked for by the
appellant. The appellant was also advised to approach the ADRM of the
concerned Division, if he was not satisfied with the reply. It seems that the
appellant has not approached the concerned officials, who may be the custodian
of information. He has directly approached the Commission, without filing his
first appeal. It is also observed that the required information is not specified as
per section 2(f) of the Act, which requires that the desired information should be
available in any material form.
Decision:
2. The appellant is advised to seek information as per Section 2(f) and (j) of
the Act, and submit the application to the concerned PIO, who may be the

custodian of information. The appellant is accordingly advised and this appeal is
thus disposed of.
