Facts
:-
The matter, in short, is that vide his RTI application dated 19.12.2008, the
appellant had sought information on 19 paras relating to the
administrative/establishment matters of the Corporation. The CPIO had
furnished him information vide letter dated 21.6.2009. The Appellate Authority
had disposed of the appeal vide letter dated 25.2.2009. Dissatisfied with the
information provided to him, he has filed the present appeal.
2. Heard through video-conferencing today dated 6.1.2010. Appellant
present. The Public Authority is represented by the officers named above. The
appellant would submit that he is satisfied with the information provided
regarding paras 2 & 8 of his RTI application but he is not satisfied with the
information provided regarding other paras. He would also submit that the
Managing Director and several officers have levelled false and baseless
allegations against him and they should be asked to apoligise to him.
3. Shri Manthaiyan assures the Commission that detailed information in
respect of each para would be provided to the appellant in 04 weeks time. As
regards the allegations against the appellant, Shri Manthaiyan submits that
something had appeared in the press but he has no concern with that.
DECISION
4. In view of the above, Shri Manthaiyan, Managing Director, is hereby
directed to provide parawise information to the appellant in 04 weeks time and
also clarify his stand in regard to the press reports.
