FACTS
:
The matter, in short, is that the NHRC had conducted
interviews sometime in 2006 for induction of Inspectors into the
Commission on deputation basis. However, no candidate was found
suitable and, therefore, no one was inducted. In this connection, the
appellant has sought information on a number of paras from NHRC.
This was responded to by CPIO vide letter dated 15.5.2009. The first
AA had disposed of the appeal vide order dated 22.6.2009.
2. The present appeal is directed against the above orders.
DECISION
3. Heard on 15.2.2010. Appellant not present. The public
authority is represented by the officers named above. It is noticed
that the appellant has not enclosed the orders of CPIO and AA along
with the appeal memo. It is also noticed that he has not sought any
specific relief from the Commission. Nor has he presented himself
before the Commission to convass his case. These grounds by
themselves are sufficient to dismiss the appeal. Hence, the appeal is
dismissed.
