FACTS
:
By his letter of 19.11.2008, the appellant had sought information on 12
paras regarding Garhwal Rifles Regimental Centre. The CPIO had responded to it
vide letter dated 14.1.2009 requesting the appellant to visit his office to seek the
information.
2. The present appeal is directed against the order of CPIO.
3. Heard on 18.11.2009. Appellant not present. The public authority is
represented by the officer named above. It may be pointed out that it is not
necessary to seek attendance of the applicant for decision of an RTI application.
Information is to be provided to the extent if is available with the public authority.
DECISION
4. The CPIO’s is directed to provide para-wise information to the appellant in
04 weeks time.
