Decision:
1.
The appellant has asked for disclosure of score of marks awarded to him
in the departmental examination and the cut-off marks on the basis of which staff
were promoted. The CPIO’s response shows that the score of marks in each
paper has been revealed to the appellant but the cut-off marks has not been
disclosed. The appellant has therefore pleaded for providing complete
information, as asked for.
2. The CPIO has furnished partial information. As the appellant is directly
affected in the matter, there is no reason as to why complete information,
including cut-off marks, should not be disclosed to him, if available. The CPIO is
therefore directed to furnish complete information, as maintained, in respect of
the score of marks in each paper and examination written by the appellant in the
last five years so as to enable him to assess his own performance and make

attempts to improve upon then. The information, as asked for, should be
furnished within 15 working days from the date of issue of this decision.
3. With these observations, the appeal is disposed of.
