Facts
By his letter of 1.9.2008, the appellant had sought information about the
misuse charges levied by DDA in last 3 years in Safdurjang Residential Scheme.
2. To this, Dy. Director (Residential), DDA had responded vide letter dated
30.9.2008 mentioning therein that no such details were being maintained by the
DDA.
3. On appeal, the Appellate Authority had upheld the decision of the CPIO vide
order dated 27.10.2008.
4. The present appeal is directed against the order of the CPIO/AA.
5. The matter was heard on 17.2.2009. Advocate Anil Kumar Batra appeared
for the appellant. DDA is represented by the officer named above. The parties were
heard. It was mutually agreed that the appellant or his representative would meet
Shri B.M. Sareen on a mutually convenient date and time whereupon Shri Sareen
would permit inspection of atleast 03 files relating to the above mentioned area,
wherein misuse charges have been levied.
DECISION
6. The matter is decided as per the above directions. However, if the appellant
is not satisfied with the DDA’s response, he would be at liberty to move the
Commission again.
