Facts
By his letter of 14.1.2009, the appellant had requested for information on 06
paras relating to the supervision of the work of SREOs in the Coaching-cum-
Guidance Centres for SC & ST and also whether the ACR of one Shri S.C. Sharma
for the period 1997-98 to 2001-02 was recorded by DGET. As he was denied this
information by the CPIO on the ground of confidentiality, he has filed the present
appeal.
2. The matter was heard on 18.5.2009. The appellant appeared before the
Commission. The public authority is represented by the officers named above. It is
the submission of Shri Sharma that as the order has already been passed in File No.
CIC/LS/A/2008/00237 in his favour for disclosure of ACR to him, he does not wish
to pursue the matter.
DECISION
3. In view of the above, the appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.
