: i

1. Both the parties were heard on 21/9/2010.

2. The appellant has asked for information relating to the expenditure
incurred by the respondent on certain events organized by them. He has also
asked for information relating to transfer posting of an official who is identified in
the RTI application.

3. The CPIO has replied and furnished the information on the basis of
available records. The appellant is, however, not satisfied. And, indicated,
during the hearing, the details of information required by him.

4. The appellant alleged that the CPIO has demanded huge money for
providing the information on the ground that the information asked for is
voluminous.

Decision:

5. After a detailed discussion, it was agreed that the CPIO would allow
inspection of the relevant documents so as to enable the appellant to identify the
required information, which should be furnished to him.

6. Both the parties should mutually decide a convenient date and time for
inspection of the relevant documents within 15 working days from the date of
receipt of this decision.

7. With these observations, the appeal is disposed of.
