On behalf of the Respondent, the following were present:-

2. In this case, the Appellant had, in his application dated 16 September
2008, requested the CPIO for the copies of a number of records and
documents concerning his own case. The CPIO provided part of the
information in his reply dated 14 October 2008. Against this, the Appellant
preferred an appeal on 4 November 2008. The Appellate Authority disposed
of the appeal in his order dated 17 December 2008 in which he directed the
CPIO to provide the remaining information. It is reported the CPIO provided
the same in his order dated 22 December 2008. In the meanwhile, on the
same day, the Appellant had already sent a second appeal to the CIC.

3. We heard this case through videoconferencing. The Appellant was not
present in spite of notice. The Respondents were present in the Chennai and
Mumbai Studios of the NIC. We heard their submissions. They explained that
all the information sought had already been provided and there was nothing
more to be given. The contents of the 22 December 2008 communication of
the CPIO listing the records and documents were read out during the

CIC/SM/A/2009/000398
hearing. We are satisfied that all the information has indeed been provided.
There is nothing more to be done in this case.

4. The case is thus disposed off.

5. Copies of this order be given free of cost to the parties.
