Facts
:
1. The complaint was scheduled for hearing on 20/4/2009. But, the
complainant did not avail of this opportunity.
2. On perusal of the documents submitted by the appellant, it is observed
that the desired information is not available with the respondent. Hence, the RTI
application was transferred, u/s 6(3) of the Act, to the concerned PIO.
3. Being not satisfied with the act of the CPIO, the complainant has
submitted his complaint before the Commission.
Decision:
4. An information seeker should ascertain the availability of the information
and specify the required information as per section 2(f) of the Act, which requires
that the information should be available in any material form. The complainant is
accordingly advised.
