                  File No.CIC/SM/A/2009/000555 dated 25-10-2008
Right to Information Act-2005-Under Section (19)

                                                            Dated: 9 March 2010

Name of the Appellant : Shri Uday Kumar Bashisht
                                        Vill - Baijnathpur,
Post & Thana - Anchal Bajirganj,
                                        Distt - Gaya, Bihar - 805 131.

Name of the Public Authority : CPIO, Madhya Bihar Gramin Bank,
                                        Head Office, Meena Plaza,
                                        South Museum, Patna - 1.

The Appellant was present in person.

On behalf of the Respondent, Shri G.S. Kochar was present.

2. In this case, the Appellant, in his application dated 25 October 2008,
requested the CPIO for a number of information regarding the loans
sanctioned by their relevant Branch under the KCC. The CPIO, in his reply
dated 22 November 2008, provided part of the information. Against this, the
Appellant preferred an appeal on 13 December 2008. It is not clear if the
Appellate Authority disposed of this appeal. Consequently, the Appellant has
come to the CIC in second appeal.

3. We heard this case through videoconferencing. The Appellant was
present in the Gaya studio of the NIC while the Respondent was present in
the Patna studio. We heard their submissions. We also carefully considered
the reply of the CPIO. In tune with several decisions passed by us in the past
in such cases where the information sought pertained to loan cases under
special schemes offering one or the other concessions, we feel that the CPIO
should provide the following details to the Appellant within 10 working days
from the receipt of this order:

i) a list of the borrowers under the KCC scheme in this particular branch for
2008-09 including their names, the amount of loan sanctioned and the

CIC/SM/A/2009/000555
purpose for which the loan has been sanctioned;

ii) a list of those applicants whose applications for loan under this scheme
had not been sanctioned along with the reason for not sanctioning.

4. With the above direction, the appeal is disposed off.

5. Copies of this order be given free of cost to the parties.
