FACTS
:
In his letter of 3.5.2008, the appellant had referred to the directions of the
Hon’ble Jharkhand High Court, wherein Cantt Board, Ramgarh, was directed to
arrange for water supply in the Cantt Board area and had complained of non-
compliance of the directions of the said court. The appellant had also sought
information on certain other points.
2. This was responded to the CPIO on 6.6.2008, providing certain
information to the appellant and stating that the project had been implemented by
MES and that the same had not been transferred to the Cantt Board.
3. Aggrieved with the decision of CPIO, the appellant had filed appeal dated
25.7.2008 before this Commission.
4. The matter was called for hearing on 20.10.2009. The appellant did not
appear but sent a written representation with the request to decide the matter on
the basis of material on record. However, non appearance of the representation
of the Cantt Board is viewed adversely.
INTERIM DECISION
5. The matter is adjourned to 07-12-09 at 1130 hrs. The CPIO, Cantt.
Board, Ramgarh, is hereby directed to appear before the Commission on the
above mentioned date, failing which the Commission will be constrained to pass
an ex-parte order.
