Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing
Counsel.
Petitioner is aggrieved by the order dated 06.05.2010, by which the
petitioner has been transferred on the basis of promotion from
Allahabad to Budaun. Petitioner has filed a writ petition stating
therein that she is not interested in promotion due to ill health and
she does not want to join the promotional post on transfer.
According to the petitioner, she has already submitted a
representation before the Director-respondent No. 2 dated
21.06.2010. Petitioner submits that the same is still pending for
consideration.
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the writ petition
is disposed of finally directing the respondent No. 2 to take an
appropriate decision upon the representation filed by the petitioner
regarding foregoing of promotion as well as regarding the transfer.
The decision to that effect according to law shall be taken within a
period of one month by the respondent No. 2.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
No order as to costs.
