Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing
Counsel and Sri Pankaj Kumar Shukla, Advocate, appearing for
the respondent nos. 2 and 4.
Learned counsel for the parties agreed that the writ petition be
heard and disposed of finally today.
Only prayed pressed in the writ petition is that petitioner’s
application by which she has prayed for domestic electricity
connection, be directed to be considered by the Executive
Engineer. Petitioner claimed that she has filled the form and
completed all the formalities for domestic connection but neither
connection has been granted nor any decision has been taken yet
on the application.
In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of the writ petition with
direction that the Executive Engineer-respondent no. 4 shall
consider and take appropriate decision on the said application as
expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two
months.
