ORDER
Smt. Kavita Singh, the appellant has filed this appeal dated 7.4.2011 before the
Commission against the Northern Coalfields Ltd. (NCL), Jayant Project, District Singrauli,
for not providing information to her RTI-request dated 24.12.2010. The matter came for
hearing on 04.11.2011. No one attended the hearing.
2. The appellant filed an RTI-request dated 24.12.2010 seeking information on three
queries relating to promotion of Shri Rajender Pratap Singh. The Senior Manager
(Personnel), NCL, Jayant Project, Distt. Singrauli vide letter No. 139 dated 17.1.2011 has
informed the appellant that she should address her RTI application to CPIO, NCL,
Singrauli. The wrongly endorsed IPO to CGM, Jayant Project was also returned to the
appellant with the advice to remit the IPO in favour of Northern Coalfields Ltd., Singrauli
along with her RTI-application.
3. Having perused the documents in file, the appellant is advised, she should file her
RTI-application before the designated CPIO, NCL, Singrauli, in case she so wishes, along
with requisite fee of Rs. 10/- as prescribed under Rule 3 in the Right to Information
(Regulation of Fee and Cost) Rules, 2005.
